You'll have several decisions to make about what to include with your new pool. We'll help you through the process.
Liners

Many people decide they want a vinyl liner in their in-ground pool. Vinyl pools are flexible in their design and popular among owners. You will never have to repaint or re-plaster a vinyl pool. A vinyl liner makes all surfaces of your pool smooth. Vinyl liners are not limited in colors and patterns as they used to be, and the cost of the liner will depend on its shape, size, thickness and pattern choice.
Choosing a liner for your pool can be a difficult decision. We've made it easy for you by offering quality liners from Fort Wayne Pools that you can rely on to fit your pool and last for many years. Learn more at fortwaynepools.com.

Full weight solid pool covers
Heavy-duty solid safety covers stand up to whatever Mother Nature can dish out. One of the industry's most durable covers comes standard with the INVIS-A-DRAIN system, keeping all the debris and sun's rays out. Available in green, gray and blue.
Water/sanitation systems
At Blue Hawaiian Pools, we offer three types of water systems for your pool. Swimmers feel, smell and even taste little difference among the types of water systems. Each system requires water monitoring and maintenance throughout the summer. The systems vary, though, on cost and the amount of maintenance. The professionals at Blue Hawaiian Pools can walk you through the differences of each system, and help you determine which is best for your backyard.
UV/ozone pools
To reduce the levels required of potentially harmful disinfectants, such as chlorine, some systems rely on ozone and ultraviolet light technology. Ozone is a naturally occurring gas that disinfects by oxidizing organic and inorganic substances commonly found in pools. With UV technology, water passes a lamp that delivers light-specific intensities, which stops the spread of pathogens and chemical byproducts found in pools.
Saltwater pools
With saltwater pools, chlorine is generated from the salt in the pool through a process called electrolysis when the water passes through a special metal cell. Saltwater pools require less maintenance because owners do not have to add chlorine on a weekly basis. Owners also save on the cost of chlorine. However, saltwater systems are generally more expensive, and they require more electricity to operate. Most owners will save money over the life of a saltwater pool, but for many, the costs are about the same.
Conventional freshwater pools
These require chlorine to be added on a regular basis. Chlorine is an effective way to eliminate microorganisms and pathogens that can make people sick. However, too much chlorie can burn swimmers' eyes and exacerbate the symptoms of asthma, as well as ruin a swimming suit and damage pool materials.
Decking
The decking surrounding your pool is an essential component of your outdoor living space. We can install beautiful brick, stone, concrete and tile surfaces, among others, to frame your pool and enhance your backyard. The most popular types of decking are:
Coping/trim

Our coping and trim provide a high quality finish for your pool while securing and protecting your liner. Popular looks are colored metals in white, gray, and tan; travertine stone in various colors; and brick, which comes in different shades.
Steps, swimouts and ledges

Pool ingress and egress are important elements to consider when designing your pool. We can install custom steps, swimouts and ledges that provide an easy way to wade into the water while offering a comfortable place to sit.
Lighting

Pool lighting can create an elegant atmosphere while enhancing safety after dark. We can install the perfect white or colored lights for your backyard.
Heaters
Don't let falling temperatures impact your enjoyment of your pool or spa. Enjoy your backyard year-round with a gas heater or an electric heat pump chiller.
Pool-cleaning systems
Give yourself more time to relax in your pool with one of our pool-cleaning systems. We offer Hayward, Polaris and Dolphin pool cleaners.
Filters – sand and cartridge
We offer many choices in filter media, inluding sand, ruby sand and glass media. Sand filters trap dirt, increasing in efficiency with the more dirt they collect. When the pressure reaches a certain reading, the dirt is simply backwashed out of the system. Cartridge filters, while generally more expensive, are more efficient and filter out smaller particles of dirt and debris. We can help you chose the best filter for your pool.
Automatic control systems
We offer a line of automatic control systems that make it much easier to maintain your pool – giving you more time to relax and enjoy it. You can even get the flexibiliy to monitor your pool from your smartphone, turning on or off lights, pumps and filters when you are away.
Special features
The amount of customization we can provide for your new pool is limitless. We can add special features, such as waterfalls, diving boards, slides and laminar jets. You name it. We can help you design a pool that meets your family's needs and stands apart from the rest.
